What pushrods did you guys buy when using guideplates?????????? How much where they and where did you get them....

I'm using Trickflow pushrods, $80 from Summit. If you can get away with stock length (6.272) and don't mind welded-ball ends, the hardened Ford Motorsport pushrods are half that.SorsCode said:

I was looking at the FMS ones... what bad about welded-ball ends??? just curious... I"m hoping i can get away with stock length... I got a Crane2040 Cam (E-Cam) with Pro Mags... waiting for my 7/16 ARP rocker studs to show so I can test fit stock pushrods to see if they are the right size...

Some people have had issues with the welded ball ends breaking loose from the pushrod. Most other aftermarket pushrods that are more expensive are single piece.

I'm using some from Ed Curtis. I think they are made by Engine Werks. They are really nice but on the downside they were $112 for the set.
i'll probly just go with the TrickFlow... this will hold my project up... oh well.. thank god its winter...
say in therory i can use stock length pushrods... I wanna order TrickFlow pushrods which ones do I order since they don't have stock length... they have 6.250&6.300

Ideally, you measure. I picked up a Comp Cams adjustable pushrod length checker for $20 from Summit, determined that 6.300" worked best for me, then ordered the Trickflow's in that length.SorsCode said:

My neighbor has the TF Pushrod check... Will have to borrow that from him... ARP takes forever to get Rocker Studs from.. Mine are coming direct from factory...
