hey guys i just sezied my motor and i have narrowed it down to the pushrods because when i rebuilt it i mixed them up and didnt think it would have made a difference but there was a lotof noise and alot of tapping and some dead misses. every one i talked to said it was the push rods has anyone herd of this before :shrug:

A sig with your major parts would be great as well.

My first thoughts about this issue is.......

Are you using guide plates and if so, did you use stock pr's with them? If that is the case then I can see how you would have metal shavings from the soft stock pr's get in your oil pump and cause probs.

Just give us some more detailed info.

You could have mis-adjusted the rockers when you were installing them. Are they stock pushrods/rockers/heads or aftermarket. What are your mods???

Also, if you take a lifter, pushrod, rocker from one position, they all MUST be returned to it's original position, otherwise the crap will hit the fan.
