Question about 85 Towncar Master Cylinder Swap
I'm going to be upgrading the brakes on my 86 to 4 wheel disc and I've read that the 85 Towncar Master may be a good choice.
I was wondering why that would be since the 85 Towncar was a disc/drum car. I've looked at a several at the junkyard and they all had drums in the back. I've also looked in a couple brake part guides and they have no listings for rear rotors or calipers so I don't even think it was an option for the car.
If this is so then would it have enough volume for rear disc and does it have a residual pressure valve that needs to be removed?
Appreciate and assistance, thanks.
