Question about N41 cam

my current set up is a 78 fairmont wagon 87 5.0 e7 heads tfs stage 1 cam air gap intake qf 650 carb t5 373 gears 225 shot it runs real good 7.30 in 1/8m my question is im getting a set of tfs track heat heads off a buddy of mine and he also has a n41 cam i was wondering if this cam is going to work better with my setup I will also be changing the intake to a victor jr Thanks

Of course it will...you would be getting rid of the ole' E7's and upgrading (in my opinion) the cam. If you get the heads, make sure you get the cam w/ it. I dont think i would go w/ one w/o the other. It sounds like it would be a pretty killer combo. Here is what AFM states about the n-41..

302 c.i.d. This cam is to be used with 1.6 R.R. Best cam for GT-40. Great with TFS or Edelbrock heads. Minimum 24lb injectors and 75mm mass air. Recommend 3.73 to 4.30 gears. Good drivability down to 2100 rpm, lumpy idle, rpm range 2600-6200, works best with 89-93 EEC, needs 2800-3000 converter.

As you can see ive got the b-31 and i love it, the car pulls hardest from 3k-6200k rpm. When you do the swap im sure you wont be dissappointed.
