quick question about headers

I have a 88 5.0 and I am just about to purchase some headers for a very good price brand new, but the are from a 94-95 5.0. I was wondering how you would go about taking of the EGR fitting and plugging it up so I wont have a leak in that spot.

just get a cap for it... I dunno. Thats what I did when I took the smog stuff off my car. I put a cap on the opening. You might need something diff cause of the heat.

yeah, the heat will prolly melt any ordinary cap, thanks for the input though since EGR is comming off too.

Anyone know what type of stuff I can use to plug up the EGR fitting on the headers?
