I was looking online for a new key less entry remote since mine broke and I found some on ebay for cheap like this....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/9495...ewItem?hash=item380004017885#ebayphotohosting Are these any good or should I just get one from Ford?
That definitely looks like an OEM Ford remote. I wouldn't hesitate to pick one up if that's the case, especially at that price. Oh and by the way, title fixed.
if you do get it...just let us know how it turns out...I am in the market for getting my two replaced, since my one doesnt work for some reason and my other one is falling apart.
Bosco you getting rid of the whole system? I need that little black box in the trunk. Just a heads up though if you remove the system and you ditch that box your interior light won't work unless you rewire some stuff. I forget but i think you loose the power door locks too
I have a friend here in fl with a shop who sells remotes cheap ass hell.He said he just started selling on ioffer.com because ebay is way to overloaded he has ford 4,3,2 button .Also has the enemy(gm ) remotes. All great prices probably cheaper then anyone on ebay also check him out he is a good guy and deffinatly reliable. here is the store site http://www.ioffer.com/shops/buynsellbuynsell
Wow, thanks man. That was another problem with ebay, i need a 2 button remote and they're all 3 and 4 button remote.
http://www.ioffer.com/bi/buynsellbu...try-2-Button-Remote--0.0-0.0-47304331?store=1 Will this work with my 95? If so I'm getting 2.
i bought one of the aftermarket from ebay. not this paticular one but one from keyless rides and it worked great just didn't like that you had to hold the button down for 2 seconds to lock the car or unlock the drivers.
he asked me if it would work for a 95 he said some one aksed him. i am guessing that was you that asked him one_bad. I told him i am not sure. But thank you for checking his store out.If you could please spread the word about it.
thanks, I'll definitely spread the word, great stuff for great prices. Do any of those "turn the key on and off 10 times" myths work for programing new remotes or does the dealer have to do it.....I hate dealers, they rape you for the smallest things.
Yeah I asked him under one of his listings. Also the on/off key 8 times does not work for our cars. Instead we have to do something where you short out the alarm in the trunk. There are a few listings saying how to do.
I wonder if the remote from ioffer have a good range on them. Mine only works from about 10-15 feet from the car..
Range isn't too much of a concern for me, it's just kind of a pain in the ass using the key. When mine still worked, it was soooooo much nicer.
What ever range a oem ford remote has thats what it should be they are all oem. I have never seen a oem remote with really bad range so i am not sure. Has anyone found out if the 2 button will work?
