After putting over 1,000 miles on my '96 Stang in the past week, I washed, and hand waxed my car, and happened to pop the hood and find a buldge in my top radiator hose.

I've had this happen before, and it was pressure in the system, and after opening the cap, and having radiator fluid shoot all over the place, the hose feels damaged, and when starting the car up, it compresses like someone is sucking the air out of it, and when I rev the car, the hose squeezes more... After shutting the car off, it goes back to normal.

I remember having this happen before my water pump went out, and I manually fixed that and put in a new one. I haven't had any problems, and my temperature is fine.

Do you guys know what this could be caused from? Thanks!

I just went and bought a hose from Discount, and put it on... Seems the old one just took a beating, and ended up splitting inside where the buldge was... Oh well, hopefully that's the end of that.
