First time down the 1/4 with the 331 and somewhat pleased. Went to see how the new MT drag radials would hold up compared to other DR's and so far they are the best hands down. first pass was with 20psi and car at 210*: 60': 1.80 1/8: 8.20 mph: 85 1/4: 12.87 mph: 105 Ran a couple more times with the tires at 20psi and got a best 60' of 1.75. Dropped the tires to 15psi: Car cooled down for an hour. air temp in the mid 70's 60': 1.69 1/8: 8.06 mph: 86 1/4: 12.69 mph: 107 I probably could have got better 60's but kinda taking it easy on the stock high mileage T-5. I was not watching the tach but I think I was leaving about 3500 and as I let out on the clutch my foot went down on the gas kinda slipping the clutch but not really.
dam now theres some nice times. I can only imagine where my 110 mph would have gone with gears and tires like those.
