Hey guys about a year ago i bought a 91 gt and it has been a nightmare working on it! the ppl that had it before me destroyed it. but anyways about a month ago i pulled apart my dash to pull out an annoying air bag light bulb that kept blinking since the airbags had been deployed. Ever since then everytime i start my car there is alarm that goes off in the interior its three beeps that goes in a series of five and it only goes off when i first start the car and about ever half hour or so of driving itll go off agian. So does any one know what this alarm is for? i think it might have somthin to do with that bulb but im not sure and i would really just like to disconnect it seens how i dont have an airbag and all the crash sensors are out now and i have no intent to put them back in! any ideas or any way of getting rid of it let me know!!!!

    THANKs
    Hill

When you pulled the bulb you set off the diagnostic monitor behind the climate controls.

pull out the heater controls. behind it there is a blue box which is where the noise is coming from. unhook one of the 2 harnesses going into it and the beeping will stop.
