I had a saleen s281 wing painted and installed 3 days ago and I was wondering when is the earliest I can wash it. I am not going to scrub on the thing but the car needs a good wash and I dont want to ruin the recently painted area. Any help would be appreciated.

wash your car normally except your wing. Use a microfiber rag dipp it in your car soap and gently wash. Also when you dry it also use a clean microfiber towel on the wing to dry. I've been detailing cars for over 5 years now and when I deal with new paint this is exactly what I do and every time it comes out perfect.

He asked a question that doesn't require pics. If you can't answer the question you don't need to be in the shine forum:D

You can wash it within a day or so of having the paint done, so you'll be fine now. Just use a gentle car wash soap and quality microfiber towel to dry it.

Paint shop should have told you how long to wait before washing, usually its around a week.
