remember my gear ? about how do i have 3.27s (with matching diff tag)in a stock 89 gt

today when i was goin down the the shore and when i was in 5th gear my tack was dead on 2000 rpm my speedo said 80.... when my tack was dead on 2500 the speedo said 100. i dont think thats right becasue when it said 80 i was goin with traffic, and getting passed by alot of people. i saw someone sayin in 5th gear at 2200 they were doin 70 with 3.55s. also i was looking at the mile markers and for every mile on the highway milemarkers = 1.1-1.2 miles on my odomiter..... my thinking is that the car came with 2.73s or 3.08s and had a rear out of an automatic put into it? anyone have any thoughts.... i dont cair what they are....

they make ratio calculators you can use to find out. I am sure you can find one online pretty easy. Type in the info and it will tell you what you want to know.
