How hard is it to replace the Header GAskets on my 2002 V6 because it sound like it has a loud Exhaust Leak. I have taken it to Muffler Shops and they tell me that there is no leak but still I hear a loud Leak at start up and while it is cold. Another thing is the Passenger side Cat is Removed and it only has the Driver side.... Any Ideas or how to on how to take of the Headers?

One more question... If I were to take off the Drivers side Cat too would I mess the car up or would it start to hesistate more than it already does? Or would it drive normal?

PB Blaster and alot of ass to get exhaust parts off.

Removing cats isn't a big deal. Just get MIL eliminators for the rear O2 sensors.

If the sound you hear is a really nasty gurgling sound in the exhaust... that's just the way the v6s sound.

That's exactly what it sounds like... a gurgle.

That's just the exhaust moving through the manifold. I haven't been in a v6 that doesn't sound like that.
