    please. a 2.3 knocks down the same mpg as a 5.0. i drove one for 3 years and it was a big kick in the nutz. dding a 4 banger mustang is a step backwards and has all the driveability flaws that his gt would. not something i would want to drive 120 miles a day.

    ive seen crazy builds on diesel Jetta's that get 300/500 and still get 35mpg

    update

    well I finally found me a econo daily driver. 1998 ford escort wagon:banana:
    4 cyl; auto; AC; cd player; power everything. 131000 miles. $950.00. Did I do good? Only thing... service engine soon light on. Suggestions on where to begin?
