Well, after being into the offroading/rock crawling thing for awhile, and being without a Mustang, I took the opportunity when my daily driver Toyota Tacoma was about to throw a rod through the block to trade it in on another Mustang while I could still drive it to the dealership. I have had several Mustangs, my favorite being an '89 LX 5.0 hatchback. I've been kicking myself ever since I sold it. So, now I just bought an '05 Mustang GT, and the grin hasn't left my face for the week that I've owned it :D It's taking some getting used to, but the mods will start soon enough, and I'm hoping to end up near the 500HP range with boost. Here is my old 'stang:

    Welcome to the S197 world:rock:
Mine wasn't purchased to be a daily driver back on Aug 29, 06 as I have a Jetta diesel. Once in the Stang a few months and starting to mod it, I've just passed the 57K mile mark in just over two years and the Jetta has sat untouched since Nov '06!!!!!
    Hope you enjoy your '05!

    Thanks Kooldawg6

I really miss my Fox, but for handling and off the shelf performance, the S197 blows it away. I can't wait to start modding it to see what it'll really do. The sad thing is, it gets better gas milage with a V8 than my old 2.7L 4 banger 4x4 Tacoma got (16MPG).

I also have a '73 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser to drive in the winter when the weather is bad, but it gets about 10MPG.
