Hi everyone, its been awhile since i went looking for these wheels but i'd thought i'd try again. i am looking for these wheels...13x5 original size. The thing is that I could shoot myself because last year i did find them at carlisle...yes, our original size. they were a little nicked so i decided to keep looking to see if i could find a better set...well, we ate and i decided while eating that i'd go back for them....well tooooooo late!! :damnit: They were sold that fast. Anyway, here is the pic:
HEHE, YES, i do know its a 76...and I did mention at one point I did like your 76 style a little better than mine. I have to be truthful.
I've got those wheels and I'll sell them to you. They are currently off the car because it is 5-lug now. I've attached a pic of the front one. They clean up really nice; no scars. I used to polish them all the time when I was in high school. I know they are 13's but I don't know the width. You'll have to give me several weeks to transport them up here from my parents. I'm currently under house arrest until the baby pops out. d
I'd never believe it if I wasn't actually seeing it. A great looking wheel that Ford should have made optional. Well Jon, now you'll have to convince the judges these actually existed too...and after making them prove your car had smog equiptment. Good luck! Thankfully, there are pics of this wheel installed in several factory promo shots. dmoody: What is that, on the center cap...and is there a manufacturer name anywhere?
In the picture, the center cap has a black background with two white letters "ET". Three of the caps have the black background and the fourth has a blue background for some reason. I'm guessing it was because my car was hit in the quarter panel really hard and that destroyed the original. d
Thanks. ET was one of several manufacturers, I thought was a possibility. I've wondered it about this for many years, never having a pic that gave a good close up of them!
