Hey everyone, long time no post.

Decided to break my rule and upgrade just one thing on my sixer, the exhaust. I wanted to go with a single axle back FRPP muffler, but the price on their website...$370 - wow, seems a bit much.

Anyone know where I can get it cheaper? I searched through older threads and most people could get it for like $200. Also, I'm going to have a professional install it because I'm horrifically mechanically inept...I've heard it can cost as much as $150 to remove 4 bolts and 2 clamps...god.

    Any help?

I think it's 6 bolts and 3 clamps on the stock muff. But just 4 bolts and 2 clamps go back on. At least that's how mine was. The FRPP muffler is made by someone, I can't remember who but it's a brand name. Buy that one, or if it were me I'd go w/Flowmaster. There's a sound clip on this forum, check em out.

After calling around, the ford dealership wants $175 dollar to install a $360 part, for one hour of work - $175 per hour...

I'm going to buy straight from Borla, have a warrantied exhaust, and have a local body shop install it for $70. Ford Dealerships :nono:
