Hey guys, I have tried to research whether or not our coolant systems for radiators & inter cooler is separate or not. If they are two separate systems then I am wondering if i can pour in some royal purple coolant additive to further reduce temperature.

with that said, does anybody here know if they are separate and also has anybody used the additive in inter cooler? I am concerned about the "foaming" syndrome people talk of. Apparently, the coolant in the inter cooler puts more stress on the coolant mix and could cause problems when using water wetter or a like additive.

    Thanks

They are separate. I use Redline Water Wetter in my intercooler system. I would not use Royal Purple in my lawn mower much less my car.
