Hey guys,
my friend just called and asked me if i had a good solution getting some rust or corosion off his chrome cobra R's. I haven't seen the rims lately so i don't know what he is talking about, i didn't have a solution. You guys have any tricks to take care of this? Thanks nick:)
Update, i guess he said it wasn't rust, just more like spots and caked on break dust. I told him to get some rim cleaner and chrome polish... you guys have anything you do?

Do not use steel wool on chrome. It will put real fine scratches that will rust quicker. A old trick I learned is to use a small wad of aluminum foil crinkled up with soapy water. Spray the chrome down with water and dip the small loosely wadded aluminum foil into soapy water and wipe away the grime. The ALUMINUM FOIL will not scratch chrome. Do not use TIN FOIL or scotch pads or steel wool. They will all scratch the chrome. Might as well use sand paper. Just an old trick I learned.
