Safety check turns into joyride for Cobra Some buttwipe service tech, who happens to be a GTO owner, posted this on a GTO message forum! what a tool. The only guys that beat on my car (besides me) is my tuner shop and they know what they are doing and know all about how my car works. I am also with them when they do it. It is fun. I hope this meat head gets his reward of a swift firing. Please let the owner of the "02 Cobra" find out about it. If this really happened at all.
cant believe he did that! at least the GTO guys over there admit it was completely dumb too. i have alot of respect for fellow V8 drivers (as long as they respect back!) but beating on someone else's car is a no-no!
If he was a Ford service tech (even one loyal to GM), he'd probably know that no 02 SVT Cobra was produced especially if he is SVT-certified. He wouldn't even had mentioned 02. Sounds like a fish story, but its a disturbing story none the less knowing that stuff like this does happen. To me, the post comes across as a guy trying to fit in with his cronies putting down the 'enemy' only for it to turn on him. If he did do it, he should be terminated and blackballed by any reputable service center because he has no discipline and no respect for other people's property.
If it is true that is lame. Something I or any respectable car guy would never do. Atleast his own boys are giving him the business.
Stock for stock no. I think I remember seeing in their sigs over on their forum they are running mid 13's stock.
bwhahahahahaha....the guy gets a call from his boss asking if he beat on a cobra. Then he procedes to make up some lame story about how his friend logged onto his sn.. Maybe the guy will realize he was an idiot...after all, based on sales of the GTO it takes a special person to buy one
Looking at the grammar I would say the original post was done by some Junior high school kid. Had to read it three times just to get an idea of what he was saying.
