I'm not sure if Doug from Bamachips adjusts this setting or not with any of his custom tunes, but I'm wondering if any of you guys have played with it. I live in an area of Texas where lately it's been 105+ everyday with humidity in the 5-12% range. Is this a setting I should consider adjusting to have the engine run a little cooler?
Typically tuners will bring the low and high speed fan turn on setting down a bit automatically. I have my low speed come on at 165 and my high speed come on at 185. I imagine with the temps your seeing your fan is running nearly non stop on high speed.
