I have a couple questions for you guys regarding sensor's. 1.) Knock sensor - What is this thing and what is it's significance? If it were malfunctioning, what would be my symptoms? 2.) 02 sensor - If my 02 sensor were malfunctioning, what would be the symptoms? My car still misfires both at idle and throughout the driving range. When it is at idle, I can hear a bit of a knock coming from the muffler. I know that there isn't any baffles loose because I just replaced the muffler not too long ago. I'm thinking that maybe it is a clogged cat or an 02 sensor problem. I suppose it still could be the MAP sensor, but I'm just really hoping it isn't. The knock sensor question is just to satisfy my own personal curiosity.
