shaker wiring

I read somewhere that the early 05s with the Shaker 500 were prewired for the 1000 subs.
Is this correct?
Where exactly in the truck would I need to look?
I don't want to pull carpet or panels without getting some type of confirmation.

some but not all early S197's were wired that way - if it was, there will be an unused connector on the wire harness near the rear passenger side corner in the trunk.

So it sounds like I would have to pull the panel to check for it just like pulling the panel to get to the tail lights?

I think you might only have to pull out the trunk liner
