I own a 03 SC. How hard is it to swap stock shifter to a pro 5 0? Can it be done through the interior by taking of the console around the shifter, etc. What/are other technical skills/special tools are required? Also..I want to get a new fan belt and see it has a Saleen part number...is this something pep boys can get or do I need to order from a specialty place? If so any recommendations? Thanks!
The shifter is pretty easy to swap out and no special tools are required. Just have some form a gasket available to seal it up and be careful not to tear the rubber boot that covers it. Shouldn't take more then 30 minutes to do. Not sure about the belt but pep boys should be able to measure the old one and find you a similar length.
