I currently own a Ninja and don't really like it. It may just be because it's only a 250cc...but I drool  over the look of the GSX-Rs.

If you can afford it, sure why not. Everyone upgrades to higher CC bikes eventually.. just like how the "I'm straight N/A, forced induction sucks!" guys are all swapping to blowers and turbo kits.

My only advice is, invest in frame sliders and handlebar caps, so the first couple times you dump it (and you will,) because you set your foot down on a rock, or on a slope, you don't screw it all up.

:rlaugh: I've done that on a rock AND a slope on my Ninja...but it didn't go all the way over, I caught it as it started to fall, but the Busa is SOOOOOO much heavier!!!

    +1

I dont mean any offense man, but i dont reccomend a busa for you with only 8 months experience.
250 was a great bike to start on, id move up to a 600ss, the liter+ bikes are animals

^ Yea I generally have my mind made up when I post "what should I do" threads. :D

However, people opinions do influence my desicion....especially when it comes to performance parts. SO dont let that stop you guys from telling me anything!

How many miles have you put on your bike? I have ridden a busa and it sits ok, till you ride it. It puts ALOT of strain on your wrists and is a little akward when it comes to cornering. The power is there definitely. lol

The GSXR's are good bikes and have more bottom end than the kawi. But I dont like how they sit. Feels like your knees are at your elbows.

The R6 is a pretty good bike but I dont like how they sit either. They feel very nimble though. Even their R1 does.

I'm not a fan of the hondas. I dont like sitting on them and dont like how they ride either.

I'm a fan of the kawi 636, I dont really like the 07 though.

I would stay away from the busa. Keep your 250 untill its HOLDING YOU back! honestly your riding skills may be good and better than your friends but keep it a little longer untill the bike just wont perform well enough for you in corners. Then step it up
