JT is a true class act. I'd hate to imagine how many more posts he'd have if he ventured outside of the 5.0 sections! I'm quite surprised he hasn't replied to this thread, but he probably disagrees with us because he's such a humble guy. Daggar may be the "Lord of the 5oh forums," but I think JT is king. :D

You guys are the reason for the respectful mood on this site. It's the members that set the tone, and I have to say that you guys are all truly class acts as well. I enjoyed being a regular member and being surrounded by a bunch of great guys, and I enjoy it even more being a SN Staff member knowing that the extent of my moderation in 94-95 is normally limited to moving an accidental talk post in tech, or something of that nature, not resolving disputes. You guys say to nominate JT as member of the year, I say nominate all of you! :nice:

Oh, and Guero... JT and Grady already have the Presidential bid on lock, but I'm going to recommend you as the Defense Secretary! :rlaugh:

Well sheesh guys. You're all much too kind! :hail2:

If it can ever be said that I've been able to help someone out a little bit (which is doubtful), you have yourselves to thank. Along the lines of what Matt, Grady, et al have said, it really is the awesome camaraderie that keeps me around here bugging you guys. I know I'm not alone in that mindset either. It's just fun to read threads and post here. I can't say that of many forums.

It's all that joking around and how we know eachother that makes it fun. Other forums not only have some um, rude folks, but you can't really joke with anyone. That = boring.
I know the threads here can get OT but generally the issue gets covered and we have some fun in the meanwhile. :nice: I would even venture to say that the joking around helps the threads because as Mr Grady always points out, people need not feel inhibited when posting. As a result, threads get bumped a lot.
And that is because of the quality folks (all of you)!!

Props to the higher-ups as well. They choose very classy folks to run things from a moderation and admin standpoint. The relatively Laissez Faire type of involvement allow us to clown around so much. :D

I always kinda of liked a hierarchy like the Smurfs had. Wasn't there a dopey smurf? I could be him. :D

Lastly, I have to thank you guys. I have received freebie goods from several members and it's often quite behind the scenes. Big props to all of you (I won't name names because I'm sure I'll forget someone at this late hour). And that doesn't even consider the great advice you all dispense or the inspiration you provide (mod ideas, etc). You guys are very generous.

On that note, I have a family member with a 2nd Gen PSE. I just got a ragged donor car to swap out some parts. If anyone needs something, PM me and I'll see if I have it and it's usable (that's a freebie, not for-sale type of thing).

Again, thank you kindly for all the nice words. :nice:
