The idea for behind the wheels seems like it'd be fairly easy. Side pipe kits mount the muffler in the stock place and have u shaped pipe coming out to the sides. It seems like this would cause more constriction than nescecary but  . I say no mufflers com straight off the exhaust manifolds out just behind the front wheels, start saving for a vavle job if you go my route :D

Yea. But you have to chop your headers, and make each chamber have it's own pipe. Then you angle the pipes up after they exit. Just imagine 3 pipes on each side shooting up. Flamethrowers would be cool too. Just don't count on being able to open the doors. :rlaugh:

i had side exhuast for about 1 year..my car wasnt lowered or anything but i did have subframes. the exhuast hit everything in its path that was semi low.

It looked and sounded great but after racing at the track it would twist and hang even lower for a day.i just went back to rear exit exhuast and i dont miss the side at all
