I posted this here because theres not a lot of sound traffic & was looking for some suggestions today.

So I butspliced a line signal converter from my right rear speaker and plugged the RCA's into the line in on the mono amp. I have a green light on the amp but im not getting a signal to the sub.

This worked for about a year then one day it stopped working and so I thought it was the amp. I bought a new amp and still have the same problem. So I just bought a new line converter and still no signal. I pulled the amp rack down last night and popped the speaker out and checked the butsplices by tugging on the wires and they are still tight.

I guess since there is no signal I need to patch in somewhere else.

The only other thing I havent done was pull the sub out of the box to see if its still wired. I pulled the wire cup off the back of the sub box and those wires are ok and tugged on those wires that goto the sub and they felt tight/secure.

Where do you guys patch in your line converters? Orrr...what else could it be?
