Well I tried to take my car to Pep Boys to get my brakes done (rotors turned and new pads), but they wont do slotted rotors. Do you guys know if you just cant turn slotted rotors or is it just Pep Boys?

P.s. The fronts are cross drilled and slotted, and the rears are just slotted.

when i took my brake and front end class the teacher said many times that you can not turn slotted and/or cross drilled rotors. however, im sure this is a way to do it. i am not sure you can use a normal brake lathe though.

AFAIK some performance shops that do machine work will do your brakes. The reason Pep Boys doesn't is that it will supposedly damage the tip of the regular cutting machines. I hear it's expensive to get them cut, one of the reasons I never got into the whole slotted/cross drilled thing.
