my smog system was totally gone when i bought the car. i am replacing it and am down to one last part that i cannot figure out routing on. it is the metal pipe from the cats or the H or X pipe up thru the engine compartment to the smog valves. problem as it sits now is everything is where it should be in the car and i cannot snake this thing down there or up there from underneath to where it lines up and connects. for those that have removed the smog stuff how did you get this pipe out? your answer may clue me in as to how to get it back in. was exhaust removed?
