I recently had my 4 Cats cut out of my car. I have a 89 5.0. I noticed after they got cut out more of a burning fuel smell around the car as well when coming down hills and just leaving it in gear and letting it coast down using the engine and gear to control the speed and has some smoke coming out the back. My friend says leaks more on the right side then the left and it looks to be sorta a blue smoke. From what I know this is oil and the valvle seals poss? But I never had a prob tell the cats got cut out. is there anythign else I should be aware of? Any help would be great thanks.

As well I am new here so be easy on me haha. I will have to get some pictures up soo.

Ya if its the valve seals I am not going to touch tell its time for a new engine there is no point. Its just wierd how it started happening after the cats where out, but I would think they where probably absorbing most of it or burning it off.
