I read the sticky on this but for the most part it just talks about putting them in a notch. By the way whoever made that sticky AWESOME job! My question is about the back seats making them for a hatch, has anyone had any experience with this? I have really been thinking about doing this. Thanks guys!

You need to reuse the seat backs from the fox and you will need to Fab some filler panels for the sides. Not hard to do and they look great in there.

So just switch my seat backs over and then build the filler panels like in the sticky i read? Thanks man. We have a salvage yard to at work and i have been eye balling some seats. I originally wanted to keep my interior all stock but now im second guessing it. im restoring my 86 new paint and everything. I have just been going back and forth on this part for a while now.

Grab em and trade an sn95 owner. Of they are black/charcoal leather, should be fairly easy.

Also note worthy - ANY 99-04 seat frame can be turned into a 03-04 Cobra/Mach 1 or 2001 Bullitt -- and all you would need is new foam and upholstery. So if you can pick up a pair of 99-04 V6 seats for cheap from your salvage yard - you could turn them into a set of 03-04 Cobra seats and be sitting on suede instead of leather. (also, we can make the cobra seats w/ the running pony logo instead of the cobra logo.)
Let me know if you have any questions.
