Do we have any type of alarm system? What good is a panic button if there is no security features. Like someone can go and pull up my lock and open the door, no alarm. Why a panic button?

The panic button is just what it means.

If you are walking to your car, and someone approaches you, maybe with a possibility of a robbery, you press it to draw attention... It really has nothing to do with stealing the car...just drawing attention.
