FWIW, i love my 17x10.5's. I;ll bet most people say 18's though. I just like being able to run a 315 tire. And i think 18's are too big for a gt, sice they come with 17's stock. Got pics?

Look at ASA(zr1, ar1), they have some nice looking rims. I would definitely get black rims and stay away from 03 cobras, saleens, bullits everyone has them. I have 03 cobras, really wish I would looked more for something more custom.

yea see i got a great deal on some machined 03 Cobra take-offs, like $200 for 4 rims and tires with 90% tread still left, which is REALLY tempting. But theyre all 17x9 and the shipping is like $250, so thats already $450. So i figure i should just suck it up and spend a bit more later on (because i didnt get the funds i needed in time for the cobras anyways lol) and get a whole new set of rims, with a wide wheel in the back which is what i really want in the first place.

02nightmaregt: you can't put a 315 on an 18" wheel? i didnt know that lol i gotta think about what to do now....

mustang50v8: Yea i would really like a staggered set of 18" Chrome FR500's, but they break the bank lol they do look pretty sweet on there  those are the dream wheels at the moment, aside from true forged etc.

This is my car with a buddy's set of oem cobra wheels:

Well i know some people run a 315 on a 10" rim but most will say to stay away from that and to only go as wide as 305. Nittos run narrow so you may be able to fit it on there with no problem:shrug: I have nittos on mine but the next pair i get will be something different

I had an 04 screamin yellow that I debated rims for. Sold it before upgrading, but I was pretty set on Chrome Saleen's.

I see a lot of black rims, but never was a fan of that combo. The shiny yellow and the chrome just goes well I think. And the Saleens being 5 star just seemed perfect.

    :stupid:

Naw, but for real, some 18x9 and 18x10 Saleens would look cake:nice:

Plus you can find replica's really cheap, well relativly; and the replica's are about the same as OEM (quality wise)....depending on the vendor.

but, I'm at the library, gotta get learned (Finals week suuucks :fuss::bang::chair::hide::ack::scratch: :crapola::doh::owned:) lol......but for real.....

Good luck with your choice bro

about the wheels, i really want some chrome fr500's or bullitts lol i was about to commit to bullitt's in 18x9/10.5 but i dont want to be buying $250 305-315 wide tires EACH crapola
