My intake is cracked and i'm planning on the PI intake, though since i'm waiting for it to ship, I thought i would "patch" the crack in the intake that i have. My first attempt didn't work, though my second did. While doing this, I removed the entire hose which runs from the TB to the air filter, then i put it back on when i was finished.

My patch didn't leak though my car was having a ROUGH idle. Not the type of rough idle due to the IAC, though it just idles really rough. The reason that i patched it was, I'll have to drive it 10 miles to the location where i'm going to install the PI Intake, though this rough idle is scaring me.

Could it be from an internal leak on the intake possibly? I'm afraid that this cracked intake might not be my only problem, which if that is the case, i'll have to rid of the mustang.

The car isn't running hot :bang:

Thanks for ANY help you can offer.

I just took the car around the block and it did fine, though I'm still scared of what might be wrong.

    Any suggestions?

Just to add another thing (since none of you will reply:()

I just drove the car 12 miles, and it was running HORRIBLE. At first the check engine light would blink on and off, then it finally stuck when i was near home.

At the redlights, the rpms were below normal and the car would start shaking due to the rough idle. While going 50 towards the end my "trip" the car began to somewhat cut in and out like it was going to die.

I'm in serious need for some info here.

Ran the code and it said my #3 cylinder wasn't responding.

Also the intake temp was 113*

    Any suggestions?

Its hard to say, what it could be. Check your spark plugs and vacuum lines. When was the last time you changed your fuel filter?

Actually, tomorrow is when i'm redoing the plugs/wires AND fuel filter :nice:

Hopefully just the plug is bad, and the block isn't on the way out :nonono:
