I was up at St. Mary's last night partying with some friends. I stayed overnight, so I left my Mustang at home and drove my dad's Sport Trac, just because I feel more comfortable leaving my car in my driveway at home than on a college campus.

Anyways, I come home today, and see a dent in my door where the keyhole is, and the actual keyhole mechanism was all warped and ****ed up. Then I noticed the door was unlocked... This ****ing pissed me off, some little pricks coming and messing with my baby that I haven't even had for two months. It would be different if this happened in a bad area, but I live deep in a very secluded and "safe" neighborhood, with a long driveway and a sensor light over the garage door. Guess no one noticed, since it must have happened late in the night.

Anyways, nothing was stolen out of the car, which is weird, and nothing was tampered with, aside from the door lock. It just pisses me the **** off that someone would do this to someone else's property. Now I have to get it fixed at the bodyshop and get a new door lock. I'm gonna have an alarm shop rip the 2-way paging system out of my old Dakota and have them put it on the Stang. Sorry if this post is incoherent and all over the place, I just feel violoated and pissed off right now.

On the bright side, at least the car wasn't stolen. Just sucks that I can't leave my car in my own damn driveway overnight without worrying about this ****. :nonono:

That sucks. Lets see the first year I had my stang it was backed into at my friends house ($1,500 worth of damage) and then a few months later it was keyed ($500 worth of damage). I hate leaving my stang anywhere I always think someone will do something to it. If I hear a noise late at night I get out a bed and check my car lol. I guess I'm paranoid. One thing is I never leave anything in my car so there’s nothing for anyone to steel. They can break in but I have nothing.

yeah, im always worried about stuff like that. People arn't suspicious enough to wonder what someone's doing over by a car for 15 mins standing outside of it making noises. That's why i always over react just in case for my car:
    - Like last week i was coming home from a trip to the LBC (proly 12-1 in the am) and noticed the same pair of headlights behind me once i got into town and parked out on the street in front of the townhouse lil district i live in. So i made sure to lock and car and make it beep for the alarm, then went inside and got my shotgun :)rlaugh: ). Then i walked outside with my shotgun and got the ammo i still had in my trunk like i forgot it right as some guy was walking up the driveway-area in a black sweatshirt and black pants - he literally stopped, turned around and walked in the direction of where that car had parked. I dont know if it was the guy, or if there even was a guy following me; but you can be damn sure i sat with that shotgun (unloaded) and looked out the window for 20 mins before going to bed.

Some thieves go out to these secluded areas for that exact reason. Neighbors are'nt that close and it's easier to sneak up on things.

Sorry to hear about that man. Now these days, what we think is safe is not so much as safe as we think(If that makes any sense, lol) Like Cobra Red said though. Sit by the window with a shotgun and just look out the window to see if those punks come by again and then give them hell:D
