So today I figured out what this weird vibration was that was coming from my engine bay. It was a wrench that was still connected to my header bolts. When I first heard it I didnt think much of it, I wasnt really worried about it. But then today I was adjusting my valves and putting my phenolic spacer on and BOOM, there it was in plain sight lol. It was on there for about two weeks and it didnt fall off. I feel like an idiot!!!
Haha. So onetime, it was 2am in the morning, and I was using a ratchet and socket on the crank pulley to turn the engine over while I set the distributer. I got the distributer in, and went to crank the engine over. I had left the socket and wrench on the crank bolt. When I turned the engine over, the wrench stopped on the water hose or something, and backed the bolt holding the harmonic balancer in, all the way out. I felt like a complete idiot. I had to drain the radiator, and take it out, so that I could fit an impact wrench back down there to put the bolt back on. Kurt
Haha NICE!! I would hate to have to go through draining all that again and taking the rad out just for one bolt.
