Anyone ever seen "deep dish" rims on a fox body? I would love to see some pics before I start to plan. I was thinking the Anniversary Cobras, FR500, '03 Cobra as my rim choices. Have to do some photochops before I buy. Thought I would be able to fit 18s and not sure how the 17" FR500 would look...which rims y'all like best?

18's should fit fine rolling the fenders, im not sure if rolling the fender is necessary, but i know theyll fit if you do, talk to kabuki notch, he just got 18x9 fr500's for his car, I think all he did to the body was roll the fender.

i hate to say this, but if you go over to the corral and look in thier wheel and tire forum, several people have fit up to 17x10's in the back (deep dish) and if you want a specific writeup, just go to that forum and search "fr500" look for the dude with the black notch that runs 11's on them

that car is just pure sex, my manager has 22's on his truck, and of course THIN tires, like that, and he went over a small pot hole or something and crack the wheel all the way around in the middle on two wheels

I will look into it more once I get a stang. I like the deep dish look and particularly the FR500 in the silver (non-chrome). I'm pretty good at photoshop so I will do some chops beforehand and post up to get some opinions. Thanks for all the help, heading to the bank on my lunch break. Hopefully pick up the car tomorrow or sometime this weekend.

Looking at that blue coupe with 18" rims is making me thinking about a foxbody bullit clone since the coupe I'm looking at is green!

If you want handling you want coilovers and if you want coilovers you want maximum motorsports trust me man if you are not afraid of spending a little money a full coilover conversion all the mm braces and the panhard bar torque arm will make your notch a absolute beast in the corners, they are many on this site that can vouch for the quality of mm products (tunedin302 is one,and his is one of the nicest cars on here, two of the nicest now that he has that cobra) anway look them up on the net call them then send them your money you may have to get another loan but you will not regret it. I spent 1800 on the coils and sub frame connector truthfully i would have spent 3600 if that was what it took to get the same ressults, and congrats on the new ride
