I'm thinking about getting those E3's,.. i have a 2004 mustang GT V8 4.6L I had some problems this morning with it, sort of felt like it wasn't firing right so am now looking for new plugs, but i keep hearing mixed things about the E3's, there's been some failures of the plugs in some fords,.. i havn't seen anything about anyone putting them in a stang engine, but i'm becoming a little hesitant about getting them. I'm thinking i might just get some bosch titaniums, i've had those in my ford explorer and they worked great. But the E3's SOUND really good. -Seb
I have them because I had a buy one get one coupon. They are not reccomended for heavily modded cars and I wouldnt run them on a non-COP car as they do make a large spark that I dont think a single coil can keep up with at higher RPMs. I have them on my DOHC modular engine and the car definatly idles smoother and started quicker. It also picked up a couple tenths on the MPG but dont expext any kind of HP gain from them. On a Fox I just stick with good old fashioned NGKs
amen with everyone else! waste of money i feel! never ran them nor do i! motorcraft/autolites only!peace john
