I have a 89 LX stock 302 block with some bolt ons. I am running autolite 24 plugs and 100 shot of nitrous. My timing is at 12 initial and 24 overall. I went up the street sprayed it in 3rd gear for about 1-2 seconds and shut the car off and coasted back in the lot here to look at my plugs. I pulled 3 differn't ones and they are all the same color. They are a dark rust looking color. What does that mean.

A dark rust color is not that bad to see I ran a car for years seeing nothing but dark rust colored plugs. It's a sign that you are running on the leaner side of things and need to be careful because too lean and you'll burn something up. You could richen the mixture a little and that will get you back to black if you don't want to risk it. Are you running a wet or dry system? If it's a dry system then it's not very surprising that you'd show a little lean when on the juice.
