Guys, my 2.3 turbo stang has been stalling while I am driving. The RPMs just drop immediately to zero, and after a few seconds, the engine starts again and all is well. Usually happens when car is hot. I have wiggled every connector I could find and could not get it to stall while doing so.

I got these codes: 27, 42, 66, and 72

27 is vss, which I disconnected since I converted to t5 and don't have cruise.

The 42 is the EGO. How hard is it to get that out if it is bad? any tricks? Books says engine is constanlty running rich and not switching.

66 (VAF) I replaced it last night and will see if that fixes this error.

I'm sure the 72 is what is causing the stalls. It is "power to eec interrupted"

My question is: Where the heck is the eec power relay on these cars?

Anyone else experience this stalling at high way speeds?

Thanks
Rich

The eec power relay in that big shiny black box that's usually located on the passenger strut tower. That gives power to the ECU, the Cooling Fans, and the Fuel pump. You might want to check and make sure that it has a solid ground (mine is an orange wire '88 TC going to the compressor).
