    How old are you?

When I was 16 I bought a 1988 z28. By the time I was 17 it had a 350 with 10:1, ported heads, holley intake, carb, cam, 3.73s, and a TCI street fighter TH350 transmission. By the time I was 18 it had 125 shot of nitrous lol. And I was suprisingly easy on the car.

Then I sold that and got a 1994 z28 and beat it to death...literally.

It sucks that they cant trust you. Whats he gonna do if he find something he doesn't like on that thing?

Are your parents loaded or did you save up for that... props if ya did :nice:
Not everyone is that lucky, and not everyone grew up with that kind of $$$. Even if you worked for every penny, a teenager's job should be school IMO... not full time work to build a car. My dad would only allow a part time job. Beast do you even work you bum

When I was that age I had the car in my sig with a good amount less done to it than there is now. I actually never did anything stupid with it, and probably only had a few burnouts under my belt. Even as the car got faster, you learn to respect it and beat on it where its safe and smart (for me the track) and not give into temptation. Mt dad had a Mustang he raced so there was no chips or anything in the car!

I bought everything myself. This was only a few years ago so all my cars have been fairly old. I got the 88 z28 for 2000$ and it was clean. Then I ended up dropping a ton of cash into it. I was working crappy fast food jobs and sinking all my cash into my car.

My grandparents loaned me the initial 2k but I paid them back pretty quick.

The more I think about it I don't know how I managed to do as much to it as I did. I paid for all of it. Doing all the work myself helped also.

ummmmmm, you had more of a problem staying off of curbs than almost flipping. firestone hated you......i hear they revised that road hazzard coverage because of you. what was it, 4 tires in a 3 month span? haha.
we never really abused your car, and to be a 86, it was still very clean when u had it. till that truck ran over your hood and fenders lol

yeha i ave a job, up until last week I was working 35 hrs a week during school!!! now I am cut back to 24 hrs a week, an the thing costed like 150 bucks or somewhere in there. I am pretty sure he should trust me by now, 9 months of driving 0 tickets and 0 accidents. Everything that goes on my car, I buy w/ the exception of the new battery, my dad had gift certificates and let me use them, including the car I had to buy from pops. My best friend w/ the supra's dad died when we were 7 so I know how that can be hard on kids and anyone for that matter.
