that can also be done by pushing the engine approx. 3-4 inches toward the rear. my friend spent quite a bit of money to do that, no body work was required.

Spend lots of money to move the engine back a few inches or spend a few hundred bucks on a lighter hood. Hmm, lets think about that one.

Don't forget Jaguar and Volvo! They have R designations for their performance models, and we all know how ricey they are!

Carbon fiber isn't really that bad. At least when unpainted, it has an interesting shine to it, even if it is tacky. Now when kids paint their hoods flat black to pretend they have carbon fiber... :nonono:

The 2005 Mustang isn't going to succeed? It's got car owners everywhere drooling in anticipation. What are you talking about?

 Like I said, I'm sure it will succeed. People will buy it and feel like they've bought an old school Shelby GT500. If you're down with that, then cool...whatever. I personally say Ford is out of ideas for the Stang and so they've gone back to what they consider their best look. I loved the Shelby's, but the new models are simply not the same car. In fact, not even close to being the same car. Now, when Ford starts pumping out the Foxbody-style Mustang again, give me a call and I'll show interest. But my OPINION, which I am entitled to, on this new design is :notnice: :bs: , and that's not going to change. If I decide to buy another Stang, I will either buy a foxbody 5.0 or I"ll have to wait until Ford pulls their head out of their a$$ and changes the style again, b/c you couldn't pay me enough to drive the new style. Gotta love the color-changing instrument cluster.....I bet Honda is wishing they had thought of that first.......very "ricey". :notnice: :nonono:

Let's see....Chevy/GM is going with all new models of cars in new futuristic-style looks, honda/toyota are going with hybrids in more vehicle lines, introducing new....all in new futuristic lines, dodge/chrysler is going futuristic...where is ford going? 1950's. I mean I know this guy wants to be like his father, but he doesnt need to make cars that look just like the ones his father put out! I mean come on, even Mazda and Toyota are getting nicer designs...And they're owned by ford! I mean come on!
