Or you could use the bottom end out of a F150 or E150...

Yeh, and I want a million dollars, a pet monkey, and Charlize Theron in my bed. But we don't all get what we want, do we?

My point is that if you want something quality made, you have to pay for it. Conversely, if you get something cheap, it may not last.

Morana is great, but not cheap. A 4.2L bottom end would work too, and may or may not be cheaper than Morana depending on what sort of equipment/knowledge/friends you have. Another one to check out is SuperSix Motorsports (www.supersixmotorsports.com). Quality stuff, again, but not cheap.

If there were some wonderful stroker kit that performed like crazy and was only 200 bucks, don't you think we'd all have it...?

It's probably easier/cheaper to just drop in a 4.6 crate motor. Last year there was some brand new 01 Cobra motors selling for $2,000. Mach 1 motors aren't that expensive either. Check out www.ebay.com

if i was to put a v8 it would be a 5.0 or 5.8 as the car we are dealing with here is a 95.so now i am either gonna make a 5.8 or put my built 5.0 in which i should have done a while ago when the v6 started knocking. we replaced it with another and ended up spending more time and money then i would have putting my v8 in. but it might be cool with a 4.2 with a 0 decked block ported heads and intakes with a nice cam and roller rockers and bigger valves. that would be nice and probably would satisfy me to a certain point. but now i have no money and i would like a carbed 351 or a stroked out 351.
