You guys have any idea how much it would be to put a sunroof on my stang? Thats the last cosmetic thing my car needs. and how do you remove your pony from under the hood?
The previous owner of my car put a sunroof in and I'm not too fond of it. It also compromises body rigidity. They will start to make noise eventually, obviously mine doesn't but once you start getting around 100K+ then it will probably get annoying.
you are talking about the chrome pony emblem if so you naad to do is remove 2 screws with a t-15 or t-20 tamper proof star bit and remove it don't know exact size t-15 or t20 you can purchase a set of these at the auto parts store.

Yep. I took mine out for a while. I have since painted it black & reinstalled it. I have an aftermarket electric sunroof that the PO installed. It's made by Hollandia (sp?). I love how the inside looks with the inside door closed (it has small vents in it. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow. You can see the outside a little bit in the 1st pic in my sig.
