I have nothing but good comments to say about the Magnacharger supercharger system. (Other than the throttle is a switch rather than an analog device.) The acceleration is still way crazy above 4k. I have a grand total of about 1000 miles on my Magnacharger and am still trying to figure out how to drive the "new" car. I have finally realized that the cruise control surging I have been feeling is a result of the system having way more power than the stock system. The blower makes the accel and decel rates on stock cruise control too aggressive; in other words the system surges going down the road. It's funny, but it's not a bad problem to have.....:) I would not hesitate for a second to recommend this system

Sounds like your tune needs some work. Ideally the car should drive the same as stock but just have gobs more power.

In my car there is a spike after 2600rpm but it's a small one and linear. I can ease the throttle in and get a nice spool up. If I slam it, just like stock it drops to low gear and off it goes. Except now it warps time and space. :)

I also can use the cruise control just fine, even when going up and down the mountains of SOCAL.

    I agree with Mr. Q.

The throttle parameters could be adjusted to make the car feel either linear or to have a gentle tio in for the first 1/4 to 1/2 throttle.

As for the cruise control issues I would do a search on surge and Kenne Bell since they had the same problems. There is an orifice kenne bell was suppying for one of the vacuum hoses which was eliminating this problem.

I don't know where you purchased your kit from but Steeda sells the magnacharger and should have some experience fixing these types of issues.

    Best of luck and congratulations.

Your tune probably does need some work. Your accelerator assy has a potentiometer in it and a good tune tech can change the linear effect of the pedal feel. Kevin MacDonald (Diablosport) has supplied me with several variations of my dyno tune. I have a more lazy feel tune, one that's touchy and one that's in between, but they all have the same wide open throttle effect. I like the one in between because the more touchy tune is just that........touchy as hell.
