Want to see some good pics of aftermarket suspension work. Im trying to learn more about it before I start taking things apart.. Before and after pics would be nice, but at least completed work pics would be helpful! Thanks RC
Are you looking for avg. bolt on stuff like upper/lower control arms and spings and the such...or...coil over swaps with watts links/panhard bars? I can try to click off some pics of my UPR upper/lower's in the rear. They were super easy to install and fit perfect.
its scary untill you start to take things apart then its pretty easy (unless you have a bad memory and cant remember where things go) if you already have lowering springs on the front they should pop out pretty easily. put the car on jackstands (make sure you give yourself enough room to lower the control arm all the way) remove wheels jack up the control arm a little remove calipers and hang them out of the way either remove the two bottom bolts holding the strut in place or remove the top bolt now you can SLOWLY lower the jack/control arm and then remove the front springs the rears you should be able to just put the car up on stands, jack the rear a little, unbolt the shocks and then lower the rear and pull the springs out
with 1 1/2 inch drop springs,stock suspension. springs used. eibach pro street s coilovers.hotchkis rear uppers&lowers,cc plates,stock front&rear sway bars,poly endlinks.
Im not really looking for pics of how the car looks when finished, Im mainly looking for pics of the actual suspension parts on the car, from underneath...the wider the view the better...Control arms, coilovers, etc. Thanks RC
