Does anybody know, does the 03/04 Cobra come with headers or are they exhaust manifolds kind of like the GT's? I was debating on if i should get Shorty headers installed while i am getting my Vortech S trim installed. I dont want long tubes for various reasons (emissions,clutch changes pita,new midpipe,etc) . And I was curious, if Cobra's had the same type of restrictive exhaust manifolds as the GT, yet they seem to be able to push above 500HP easily with stock manifolds. Then I would leave mine the way they are and not even worry about it, since high HP results are still obtainable with stock manifolds.
They are just manifolds, and cobras have oval exhaust ports while you have circular, so they wouldnt work. Cobras make the power with the heads and the blower.
There also seems to be a ton of potential in opening up the exhaust on a Cobra. Like with longtubes, catless midpipe and such.
