background: I drive a girl from school home from my frat and she absolutely falls in love with my car. I later find out that her family is into cars and back home in NH she has a stang too.
Couple days ago, she IMs me and says that she wants to swap a 5.0 into her 2000 V6 vert 5speed. (By "she" she means her dad) I've heard that going from an eighties/nineties v6 to a 5.0 isnt that bad, but I've never heard of going from a 2000 to an earlier year. Has anyone done this? I told her that doing a 4.6 swap would probably be easier, but she really wants a 5.0. (I may propose to her, more on this later.)
note - I posted this in the 4.6 section and all I got was "thats a lot of work."
