My II ate its C4 last night at the track. It was delicious. So now I'm thinking I might as well take the time to do the T-5 swap. I have a V8 Mustang II bell housing, block plate, flywheel, clutch fork, pedal set-up, and fork inspection cover. I also have a driveshaft that has been shortened one inch with the correct yokes installed. Far as I can tell I'll need a clutch cable, pressure plate, clutch, modified throwout bearing, and, of course, a T-5 with a shifter. I have a few questions. Is a stock Mustang II clutch cable okay or is there something else I should use? I've heard that a number of people have had trouble finding a clutch that will fit. Does anyone know which ones work and what the source is? Finally, I was planning on using a T-5 from a 90-93 Mustang but have heard that a T-5 from a 94-95 5.0 SN95 bolts in without having to modify the throwout bearing, driveshaft, and so on. Does anyone know for certain if this is true? Thanks for all your help in advance!
