I've been away from these forums for a LONG time and its great to be back! Has anyone here hooked up an aftermarket tach or shift light in an 05+ GT? I've searched and can't come up with specifics. Tell me how you did it. I have the Autometer shift light and tach adapter.
I've got a Raptor shift light and this is how I wired it - basically an earth, a live and a feed to one of the coil feeds : http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2177534/8
That link doesn't work for me. Can I just pick any one cylinder for the coil feed. I'm guessing the red wire on the coil pack is the one I need to tap into. Is that correct? Please help, I need to wire this thing up tomorrow.
No, it's a green wire. Link should work. If not, go to www.raptorperformance.com and search for the 2005 Mustang Install where you'll find it in color.
